I am now reading #10 in this series. I have loved every book and mystery in this series since book one. The descriptions of the cat antics, especially the star of the stories Ragsdale, the kleptp-cat are delightful. Even if you don't have a cat, you will fall in love with these cats. Savannah and her husband and friends are just wonderful and I enjoy the new characters introduced each book. The mysteries this group of friends encounter keep you reading to see how they are rescued ... with the help of Ragsdale who has either stolen something which helps solve the mystery or by his insistence by staring at something that will lead to a rescue.These books are fun to read for most all ages from 12-90.

Rags is so endearing and at same so "he did what" cat that he unbelievable. His sneaking out adventures as so funny but you can't help but be afraid that something bad will happen to him.
Such a wonderful, clever, funny mystery story. I have read all of Patricia Fry's Klepto cat mysteries and after each one I did not think another could be better. But each one is the BEST. And this is the BESTEST of all (so far). The people and pets are so lifelike.

I do love this entire series, Rags spends a vacation with his vet owners by the beach and immediately starts swiping neighbor's belongings (we never do find out how he sneaks out of the home). He does manage to save a life when he steals a bloody necklace. All the regular characters are there and it was fun to see them in a different location for a change.
A wonderful account of family life with mystery and a touch of paranormal staring Rags, the Klepto Cat, an easy relaxing read. The Iverys accept an invitation from an old friend of Michaels to spent the summer in his beach house. Peter, his friend is having minor problems at his gallery and wants some help. Rags manages to get out of the house a few times has adventures. The ending is unusual.
Savannah is not as weepy as she appeared in the first few books . As a professional woman, she needed a stiffer upper lip, maybe Ms. Fry came to the same conclusion. In any event, I enjoy the series.
Family, friends, the beach, and enjoying the large beach house of an up and coming artist! What more could one ask for on a vacation? How about possible art forgery? Not so subtle attempts on the art gallery owner's life? And, Rags is ever helpful in "collecting"the clues"......
In this eighth installment of the Klepto Cat Mysteries, Savannah and her family travel to the California shore to stay in a house owned by one of Michael's old friends from college who is now a famous artist, Peter Whitcomb. It seems ideal, but Savannah senses danger. Strange and bizarre things had happened to Peter, and continue happen while Savanna and Michael are there. Someone's life may be at stake, and it's up to Savannah and Michael and the cats, particularly Rags, the klepto cat to solve the mystery before a catastrophic event occurs.
